I have now entered the transfer portal!!!!
Thank you for checking out my website. Before you go any further, let me introduce myself. My name is Donovyn Fowler, and I competed during my freshman year at The University of Oklahoma. I graduated from Joplin High School in May 2022. I was on the Varsity Football team and Varsity Track and Field team. My position on the football team was Corner and I competed in the long jump and triple jump in track. Some of my track accomplishments include: 5-time Jr Olympic medalist and TWO-time Gold Medalist at the Missouri Class 5 State Track Meet.
I am the first to EVER place 1st in two events at the same State track meet from Joplin, creating a new record and I hold the school record for both jumps.
I started this website as a recruiting tool to show my work ethic by going the extra mile, to showcase all of my talents in one location and now I keep it up to date for myself, my family, and future generations to see that hard work pays off.
You can click on the tabs to see all of my stats, accomplishments, videos, photos, and more. There is also an articles tab that highlight some of the articles that have been written about me or that include me in them.
My goals for track are to break my school records (I have done that now), win State, (I have done that now) win Junior Olympics (so close with a 2nd place triple jump finish), and get a full ride to college (I had a full ride my freshman year at OU). My biggest dream is to compete in the Olympics. My goals in life are to be a good person and to help others. I want to be remembered for how I treated others and how I went that extra mile in everything that I did. I want to help teach the next generation that hard work does pay off, so I volunteer to coach jumps for the AAU group that I have been a part of since I started track when I am back in Joplin. I love giving back!
Thank you for your interest in me and please check out all of the tabs on my website to get to know me better and to see my accomplishments and hard work from past, present, and future.
